Figured uses Chargebee to manage subscriptions and billing. You will have received your invoice in a format that looks like this:
Note: invoice will be prepared in your local currency.
When to expect your first bill
For a farm being billed to a personal billing account, you will receive a 30-day free trial. After that the farm will be moved over to a paid subscription and charges will commence.
For a farm being billed to an organisation billing account, there is no 30-day free trial.
In both cases, if the billing for a farm commences part way through a month, the the partial charge for that month will be pro-rated to the next full month. This means the first bill may seem larger than expected as it contains a full month plus and pro-rated charges.
Figured bills in advance, so each months subscription cost is incurred at the beginning of a given month. However, when you set up your billing, you may choose to either have payment collected as soon as the charges incur, or collected in arrears.
How to view and manage your billing details
To view or update your current billing information on Figured, you need to navigate to the billing section of Figured and follow the instructions in this help article How do I view or change my billing details?
If you have enabled personal billing on Figured, you'll need to navigate to Your Profile > Billing & Subscriptions. Or you can just click here.
If you are a member of an organisation on Figured and you have access to billing, you will be able to find this information under Your Organisation > Billing.
To learn how to set these up go here for Personal billing, or here for Organisation billing
How do I read my invoice
The invoice received by email is consolidated on a product level (Farm Manager, Farm Reporter etc.) To see a full farm breakdown of your invoice you can use the CSV export tool on the Billing page to select a billing period and export a breakdown of charges. This will download a CSV file which shows the list of farms that made up the month's invoice. If you are part of an organisation and don't have access to the Figured billings page there are two options:
Ask someone with access (member of admin/agri team) to generate the CSV and send it over.
Gain access to Figured from the admin - the people tab is where you manage all the members of your organisation and their access levels. To add a new person click + Add new person in the top right hand corner. Enter the new persons email address and select the access permissions you want them to have. For this you want to tick the Access view, update and manage billing settings box.
Find more information about managing the organisation tab here.
