AgriWebb Integration: Pre-Integration Checklist

Before starting the AgriWebb integration setup wizard in Figured, please work through the checklist below. Completing these steps first will ensure the integration connects smoothly and your data syncs correctly from day one.

Quick Checklist

  • Livestock trackers have Sales and Purchases accounts assigned

  • AgriWebb user has the correct permission level (Administration)

  • Required stock classes are enabled in Figured

  • AgriWebb transactions have the correct enterprise assigned

1. Set Up Sales and Purchases Accounts on Your Trackers

Each livestock tracker that will receive data from AgriWebb needs to have both a Sales account and a Purchases account configured. These accounts determine where AgriWebb sale and purchase transactions are posted in your Chart of Accounts.

How to check

  1. Navigate to the livestock tracker you plan to integrate.

  2. Click Settings and look for the Sales Account and Purchases Account fields.

  3. Ensure both fields are populated with the appropriate accounts from your Chart of Accounts.

  4. Repeat for every tracker you intend to map to an AgriWebb enterprise.

πŸ’‘ Why this matters: If a tracker is missing a Sales or Purchases account, AgriWebb transactions won't have anywhere to post. Setting these up before you begin avoids errors during the integration setup.

2. Confirm Correct Permission Levels in AgriWebb

The person authorising the connection between AgriWebb and Figured must have Administration-level permissions in AgriWebb. Without this, the authorisation step in the integration wizard will not complete successfully.

How to check

  1. Log in to your AgriWebb account.

  2. Navigate to Settings > Users and confirm your account role is set to Administration.

  3. If you're an accountant and your client holds the AgriWebb account, you can use the Email Authorisation option in Figured to send them an authorisation link instead.

πŸ’‘ Accountant-farmer workflows: If your client is the one with AgriWebb access, you don't need their login credentials. During setup, Figured provides an Email Authorisation option that sends your client a secure link to authorise the connection from their end

3. Enable the Required Stock Classes in Figured

During the integration setup, you'll map AgriWebb age classes to Figured stock classes. Only enabled stock classes will appear in the mapping dropdowns. If a stock class you need is not enabled, you won't be able to complete the mapping step.

How to check

  1. Open your livestock tracker and go to Settings > Stock Classes.

  2. Review the list of stock classes and ensure every class you use in AgriWebb has a corresponding enabled class in Figured.

  3. Enable any additional stock classes before beginning the integration wizard.

πŸ’‘ Good to know: You can map multiple AgriWebb age classes to a single Figured stock class if that suits your setup. You only need to map the age classes you actually use in AgriWebb β€” anything you don't use can be left unmapped.

4. Ensure AgriWebb Transactions Have the Correct Enterprise

When transactions sync from AgriWebb to Figured, they are routed based on the enterprise assigned to them in AgriWebb. If a transaction doesn't have the correct enterprise, it may sync to the wrong tracker or fail to come through at all.

How to check

  1. In AgriWebb, review your recent livestock transactions (sales, purchases, births, deaths, movements).

  2. Confirm each transaction is assigned to the correct enterprise.

  3. Pay particular attention to any transactions that may have been entered without an enterprise, as these will not map correctly during the sync.

πŸ’‘ Why this matters: During integration setup, you'll map each AgriWebb enterprise to a Figured tracker. If transactions in AgriWebb sit under the wrong enterprise (or no enterprise at all), they'll end up in the wrong place in Figured. Cleaning this up beforehand saves time and avoids reconciliation headaches later.

What's Next?
