Setting Up the Integration

To successfully enable the integration, the following is needed:

  • An active AgriWebb account with enterprises configured where you have user permissions at the Administration level

  • An active Figured account with livestock trackers set up

  • Have completed the following pre-integration checklist

Step 1: Access Integration Settings

  1. Log in to your Figured account

  2. Click on Settings in the side bar - if you do not see the Settings option on the nav bar you do not have sufficient permissions.

  3. Under the Operations heading, click on Livestock Integrations > New Connection

Step 2: Choose Your Authorisation Method

You have two options depending on your current access permissions:

Option A: Direct Authorisation (You have access to both systems)

Best for users who have login credentials for both Figured and AgriWebb.

  1. Select "I have access to both Figured and AgriWebb"

  2. Click Authorise

  3. You'll be redirected to AgriWebb to complete authentication

  4. Once authorised, you'll be sent back to Figured

Option B: Email Authorisation (For accountant/farmer workflows)

Best when the accountant uses Figured and the farmer uses AgriWebb, or when one party doesn't have access to both systems.

  1. Select "Send authorisation email"

  2. Enter the email address of the person who has AgriWebb access

  3. Click Send

  4. The recipient will receive an email with a Connect button

  5. They can click this button to complete the secure authorisation process for that specific farm

  6. You will receive a confirmation email once this connection has been made.

ℹ️ You can revoke an email authorisation before it's completed if you change your mind.

Step 3: Select Your Farms

  1. After authorisation, you'll see all AgriWebb farms you have access to (with appropriate sync permissions)

  2. Select the farms you want to sync

  3. Confirm your selections

Multi-farm support: You can sync multiple AgriWebb farms to a single Figured farm if needed.

Step 4: Map Your Enterprises to Trackers

  1. You'll see all your AgriWebb enterprises displayed

  2. Hover over each enterprise to see which farm it belongs to

  3. Map each enterprise to the appropriate tracker in Figured

  4. Click Next to continue

Step 5: Map Age Classes to Stock Classes

This is where you align your AgriWebb age classes with your Figured stock classes.

  • You'll see separate tabs for Cattle and Sheep (tabs only appear if you have those enterprise types)

  • Only enabled stock classes in Figured will appear in the dropdown menus

  • It is only necessary to map the age classes that you use in AgriWebb. For any age classes that are not used you can leave them unmapped.

  • You can map multiple AgriWebb age classes to the same Figured stock class if needed

Step 6: Sales & Purchase Transactions

You'll see an option to Import Sales & Purchase Transactions. This controls whether sales and purchase data from AgriWebb flows into your mapped Figured trackers.

If you select the checkbox, sales and purchase transactions from AgriWebb will be imported into all mapped trackers where sales/purchase accounts have been set up in Figured. If you leave it unchecked, no sales or purchase transactions will be imported from AgriWebb — only natural movements (such as births, deaths, and aging) will come through.

Below the checkbox, you can map AgriWebb cost types — such as Commission, Levy, Labour Cost, Transport Cost, and Other Costs — to specific accounts in your Chart of Accounts. If you leave any of these unmapped, they will default to the stock class sales/purchase account set in the tracker.

Which option is right for you?

This depends on your existing workflow.

If you're already recording sales and purchases in Xero/MYOB and importing them into Figured that way, you'll likely want to leave this unchecked to avoid duplicating transactions. If you'd prefer to switch to AgriWebb to be your single source for all livestock movements including sales and purchases, select the checkbox.

Tip: You can't use both methods for sales and purchases at the same time without creating duplicate entries. Choose one source — either Xero/MYOB or AgriWebb — for your sales and purchase data.

Step 7: Sync Historical Data

If you're setting up a new Figured file and already have historical data in AgriWebb:

  1. Check the "Sync historical information" option

  2. This will pull all previous years' data from AgriWebb into Figured

  3. This gives you a complete starting point without manual data entry

ℹ️ Note you cannot sync data prior to your Lock dates from your accounting system. And if your livestock tracker is already up to date, you will not want to sync historical date to avoid duplicates.

Step 8: Complete Setup

  1. Review your settings

  2. Click Complete

  3. The initial sync will begin automatically

You'll see a confirmation message with information about how the integration works going forward.
