The account type must be a direct cost account to map or associate a purchase account with your production tracker - like a beef purchases account.

You can change an account type in Figured without affecting your accounting software or needing to change the accounting account first.

Head to Accounting > Chart of Accounts and search for the name of your purchase account.

Click on the account name, and on the following screen, you'll want to change the account type to direct cost.
