Managing Custom Reports in the Reporting Studio (Organisation vs. Farm)
The Custom Reports feature in our Reporting Studio is designed to save you time and standardise your reporting across multiple farms. The key to using it effectively is understanding the difference between reports created at the Organisation level and those at the Farm level.
This guide explains how to manage your central report library and how to use those reports within individual farms.

Organisation-Level Report Management
When you are in your organisation's main admin dashboard (not inside a specific farm), you can access your organisationās custom report library.
Navigate to Reporting Studio in the left-hand menu.
Select Custom Reports (Beta).
This screen is your organisationās library for all reports. Reports created here act as master templates that can be made available to all farms within your organisation.
On this page, you can:
Build a New Report: Clicking + Build a Report creates a new report template for the organisation.
Filter Your View: Use the All Custom Reports, Published, and Drafts tabs to find the report you're looking for.
Note: Only published reports will be visible on your farms.Manage Columns: Use the Columns button to show or hide fields in the list view (like 'Created By' or 'Last Updated').
Clicking the ā...ā menu next to any report lets you do certain actions:
View/Edit Report: Opens the report builder to change the report's structure and data.
Edit Details: Allows you to quickly change the report's Name or Description as it appears in the list.
Copy: Creates a duplicate of the report within the organisation's library.
Publish: Makes a draft report visible to all farms in your organisation.
Delete: Permanently removes the report from your organisation's library.
Farm-Level Report Management
When you navigate into an individual farm, you can also access its Custom Reports area from the Reporting Studio menu.
On this page, you will see two types of reports:
Farm Reports: Reports created or copied specifically for this farm.
Organisation Reports: These are master reports pushed down from your organisation. They are clearly marked with an āOrgā tag.
Using Organisation Reports on a Farm
Organisation reports are read-only at the farm level. This is intentional, as it ensures your master templates remain consistent across all your farms.
The ā...ā menu for an āOrgā report gives a limited set of options:
View: Runs the report for the specific farm you are in.
Copy to Farm Reports: This is the key action for customisation.
Download to PDF: Generates a PDF of the report for that farm.
You cannot edit or delete an āOrgā report from within a farm.
Copy an Organisation Report for Farm-Specific Edits
If you want to use an organisation report as a starting point but need to make changes for one specific farm, you must create a local copy.
From the farm's Custom Reports page, find the āOrgā report you want to use.
Click the ā...ā menu and select āCopy to Farm Reportsā
An "Edit Report" pop-up will appear. Rename the report how you like and update the description so you can tell it apart from the master template.
Click Confirm.
You will now see a new report in your list that does not have the āOrgā tag. This new report is a farm-level copy. You can now freely alter that report as if you had created it from scratch on your farm, and it will not affect the organisation-level report it was copied from.
