The three-step reporting process

Figured Insights allows for the powerful curation of farm data at scale, transforming the way you leverage that data and provide enhanced value to your clients.

The diagram below illustrates the workflow required for capturing data inside Insights, before making it available to report back to the individual farm/s. The same workflow applies for generating both benchmarking and farm stats reports which will be explored in the workflow checklist further below.

Workflow Checklist

  1. Analysis in Insights

  • Use your filters to start targeting the groups of farms you wish to run your analysis on

  • Zone in on any specific farms not captured by the broad filters by using Filter by Farm

  • Save your filters, "Make Available for Reporting" so you can access this group of farms in the Insights Report within Figured files

2. Figured Insights report

  • Navigate to the individual farm > Reports > Insights report

  • Select the saved filter from the drop-down

  • Configure your report selections - basis, date range, KPIs, and graph selections

  • Star the view as a report favourite so the settings stick for next time

3. Review and send

  • Send the Insights report to another staff member internally for review

  • If the report view has been saved, the review/updating process is easy to update

  • For any confirmation on calculations, you may wish to refer to the article Insights: How is the data calculated?

  • Send to your client and/or raise in a meeting

  • Automate through the use of organisation report packs
