As Figured pulls all of the information from your preferred accounting software, it is not possible to set up a Figured file without that connection. Connecting to your accounting software is step number 4 in creating a new file in Figured, an example of what this screen might look like is provided below:

Once you are all signed up with your new accounting software you can create your new file at my.figured.com
