As Figured pulls all it's information from your preferred accounting software, it is not possible to set up a Figured file without that connection. Connecting to your accounting software is step number 4 in creating a new file in Figured. And example of what this screen might look like is provided below.

Once you are all signed up with your new accounting software you can create your new file at my.figured.com
