To continue delivering solutions that save you time and help you deliver more value to your clients, a price adjustment will take effect from 1 November 2026.
This year's investment has gone into rebuilding how reporting works in Figured, bringing AI into the platform, and reducing manual work across inventory, integrations, and beyond.
What’s New and Improved in Figured
Reporting Studio
Reporting Studio is Figured's new purpose-built reporting experience, included on Farm Reporter, Farm Manager, and Commercial Manager. Build professional, branded reports from live farm data, at scale across your whole client portfolio. More efficient to produce, tailored to every farm, and powerful enough to start the conversations that matter.
The builder
Section-based drag and drop builder with page-aware layout
Portrait and landscape orientation
Keyboard shortcuts, undo and redo
Refresh button to pull the latest data from Xero or trackers without leaving the builder
Save warning when navigating away with unsaved changes
Why it matters: You build faster and with less risk of losing work. The page-aware layout means you're not manually fixing alignment every time you add something.
Templates
Pre-built templates to start from, or build entirely from scratch
Org-level templates that open across every farm in your portfolio automatically
Admin and Figured-level templates
Why it matters: Build a report once and it's ready for your whole portfolio.
Cover page
Six preset cover page layouts
Editable text, image upload, and logo
Cover page preview
Why it matters: Every report a client opens looks like it came from your firm. First impression, sorted, without design work.
Components you can add
Financial Reports: P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet
Gross Margins
KPI tiles
Charts
Farm Summary
Text boxes
Images
Logo
Auto Analyst (AI commentary)
Why it matters: You're not stuck with a fixed report shape. Whatever a client's conversation needs, whether that's a KPI tile, a chart, or a full P&L, it's a drag-and-drop away.
Multi-farm reporting
Report across several farms in a single view
One template, opened across your whole portfolio instantly
Why it matters: No more building each farm's report separately. One setup, every client.
Flexible columns
Build any column combination in a single report
Period, Total, Variance, Average, and Divide by Metric columns
Custom date ranges per column
Rename and reorder columns and rows freely
Why it matters: One report can now show actuals, forecast, and variance side by side, exactly how you'd explain it in a meeting.
Global date selector
One date control at the top updates every KPI, chart, and financial report instantly
Dynamic Quarters and Dynamic Months
Quarterly view
Automatic year-to-date figures across reports, charts, and KPIs
Why it matters: Ensuring data consistency across your report. Update the period once, and every KPI, chart, and financial report updates instantly.
Snapshots and Annual Plan
Pull a saved point-in-time version of a farm's numbers into any report
Annual Plan view alongside Snapshots
Why it matters: Bring the budget a client signed off on back into any report and show it next to where they actually landed. The variance conversation writes itself.
Dynamic text fields
Live tokens in text boxes that auto-fill farm name, dates, and more
Headings and commentary update automatically per farm
Why it matters: Write a heading once and it's correct on every farm's report, every time. No manual editing, no risk of the wrong farm name slipping through.
Account-level detail
Drill from a summary down to account level with one click, at farm or org level
Collapse back up just as easily
Why it matters: The right level of detail for every conversation, without rebuilding the report.
Reporting Studio is ready for you to use today, but we're actively building on it, with plenty more features coming that we know you and your clients will love.
Auto Analyst
Auto Analyst is Figured's AI commentary engine, built directly into Reporting Studio. Set it up once at org level and it reads each farm's numbers and writes the narrative automatically, personalised to that farm, for every report. It quotes the right figures, flags the variances that matter, and tells the story of that farm's season in plain language.
Choose the format that fits the client: a three-sentence executive summary for the farmer who wants the headline, a full multi-paragraph analysis for the bank, or bullet points for the client who wants the data without the story. You review, adjust if needed, and send.
Why it matters: The commentary that used to take the most time is written for you, specific to each farm's numbers, not generic filler.
Formula Builder
The Formula Builder has been redesigned with better search and filtering, so finding the metric you need takes seconds instead of minutes. A new context sidebar shows exactly where each number comes from before you use it, and format previews let you see what a formula will look like on a report before it goes live. Account-line and tracker-level metrics have been added, giving you a wider range of data to build from. Formulas can now be deleted or archived to keep your library clean as it grows.
Why it matters: Building the metrics that matter to each client is faster, and you can see exactly what a formula will look like, and where a number comes from, before it's live on a client's report.
Gross Margin Reporting
Enterprise-by-enterprise and crop-by-crop profitability
Built directly from Figured's live production and financial data combined
Per-hectare and per-enterprise breakdowns
Available for both cropping and livestock and dairy
Why it matters: For the first time, you can show a client exactly which part of their operation is making money, without pulling production and financial figures together manually. The analysis that used to take hours is ready before the meeting starts.
Reports by Category
Clean, categorised view of Profit and Loss and Cash Flow
Available by tracker or at whole-farm level
Same options available in the Variance Report
Why it matters: Not every client needs a full financial report. Reports by Category gives you a high-level view for clients who want a straightforward read of their financial position without the full detail.
Inventory and Allocations
Several updates this year have removed the manual steps that used to slow down inventory and allocation management.
Inventory movements recorded automatically. When a purchase invoice is coded, inventory movements are now recorded automatically. No separate manual step required.
Why it matters: No manual tracking after an invoice is coded. It happens in the background.
Copy from Historicals. Copy last year's actuals or forecasts into a new season in one step, for both homegrown and purchased inventory.
Why it matters: Start the season with an accurate baseline instead of entering data from scratch.
Flexible invoice distribution. Invoice lines can now be distributed to any tracker or with no tracking.
Why it matters: More control over how purchased inputs are recorded and reported, particularly for feed and fertiliser purchases that need to be split across enterprises.
Integrations
AgriWebb. The AgriWebb integration is now generally available. Stock classes have been expanded to match AgriWebb's classification system, so livestock data maps correctly between the two platforms without manual matching. Sales, purchases, and stock class data sync directly into Figured.
Why it matters: Livestock data moves between systems with far less manual re-entry and matching. Less time spent reconciling, more time spent advising.
QuickBooks Online. QBO Dimensions are now supported in Figured, giving QuickBooks Online users more flexibility in how financial data is structured and reported.
Why it matters: For firms using QBO, financial data now maps more accurately into Figured, reducing the manual work of aligning categories across systems.
Planning
Less repetitive work in the Planning Grid. The Planning Grid now remembers your expand and collapse settings from year to year.
Why it matters: The view you set up last time is the view you come back to. No more re-clicking the same sections every time you open a farm.
What's Coming Next
We're continuing to invest in the platform. Here's what's already in progress.
COMING NEXT WEEK
Planning Grid rollover, simplified. The manual tracker-by-tracker rollover process is being replaced with a single centralised interface. Roll over partial years, select specific subsidiaries, round figures to the nearest 100 or 1,000, and exclude non-operating items in one step.
COMING SOON
Allocator and Multi-Farm, connected. The Allocator and Multi-Farm can now share the same tracking category.
Why it matters: Easier to split costs across farms using your existing Xero setup, without duplicating your tracking category structure.
Cleaner transaction data. Similar transactions within a month will consolidate into a single line automatically, reducing the steps needed to update a plan and keeping data easier to read.
More Reporting Studio releases, building on everything already live.
