If you're a farm owner with either a share or contract milker on your farm, you can add this into your milk tracker which will automatically deduct the cost from your overall milk income.

To setup either a share or a contract milker, head into your milk tracker settings and select Farm manager on the right hand side.

Adding a share milker

From your farm manager settings, use the dropdown to select Share milker and save changes.

The page will reload, and you'll then need to map your expense account and save changes. Once done, you can use + Update values to add in your yearly share milker percentage.

The year selected will be the year where the share milker percentage is first valid from.

Adding a contract milker

From your farm manager settings, use the dropdown to select Contract milker and save changes.

The page will reload, and you'll then need to map your expense account and save changes. Once done, you can use + Update values to add in your yearly contract milker $ value.

The year selected will be the year where the contract milker $ value is first valid from.

Once you've setup either your share or contract milker, this will then flow through to your budgets and forecasts. The share or contract milker account will show as a cost under your milk tracker, which will then make up your milks gross profit.
