Each year as the IRD release updated herd scheme valuations, Figured adds these for each applicable stock class which flows through to your end of year valuations automatically.

Because herd scheme generally requires you to keep livestock under the scheme until death, Figured keeps track of how many livestock you had under the scheme in the prior year (last years closing) and lets you know if you've not allocated enough (red box, exclamation mark).

Calculating the herd scheme revaluation

Along with automatic herd scheme values we also calculate the herd scheme revaluation for you.

In order to see this automatic revaluation, you'll need to complete two years of valuations with at least the first year having stock sitting under herd scheme.

If you complete and lock off the first years valuations, in the following year you'll see a revaluation come through along with the value of your stock on hand.
