As you build out your cropping trackers budgets, forecasts, and actuals, all of this data is then used to build up some key measures inside the tracker.

These KPIs can be found on the main cropping tracker screen, as well as within a crops individual crop season detail screen.
  

On the main cropping tracker screen

Yield, production margin, and gross margin are updated for actuals, forecasts, actuals + forecasts, or budget. 

Actual quantity on hand and actual valuation on hand only display for actuals.

  • Yield:
    Total crop harvested for your selected financial view and season
    Quantity per hectare based on area / harvest
  • Production margin:
    Margins per hectare and per quantity based on (expected sale price x yield) - direct costs
  • Gross margin:
    Margins per hectare and per quantity based on sales - direct costs
  • Quantity on hand:
    Total inventory on hand as of today - this includes any unsold harvest from prior seasons
  • Valuation on hand:
    Total value of inventory on hand as of today based on expected sale price (actuals)

NOTE: Expected sale prices can be set for all financial views in all crop season detail pages.
  

In a crops crop season detail page

  • Total yield in tonnes and tonnes per hectare (t/ha)
  • Total production value in dollars ($) 
  • Total direct cost in dollars and dollars per hectare ($0.00 /ha)
  • Production margin in dollars and dollars per hectare ($0.00 /ha)
  • Production breakeven in dollars per Tonne ($0.00 /t)
  • Total income in dollars and dollars per hectare ($0.00 /ha)
  • Gross margin in dollars and dollars per hectare ($0.00 /ha)
